Software Engineer & Creator

My interest in programming was sparked in 10th grade computer class when I accidentally opened Chrome's developer tools and realized I could make the Google homepage say whatever I wanted. It was right then and there that I decided I wanted to be an HTML Engineer, making 6 figures fresh out of a 12 week bootcamp.

Just kidding. I also don't take life very seriously. But in actuality, that moment did eventually lead me to landing my first job as a web designer, and the rest is history. For years I accumulated lists of software ideas early in my career with no outlet to turn them into reality, until I was introduced to Laravel, and I quickly fell in love. These days I'm the IT Manager at ProHousing - mostly still software development - where I build our internal platform, ProEdge. Outside of that I freelance on The Fun Pianos Planner, a business-management app I've maintained for a touring dueling-pianos company for years.

Everything else on this site is stuff I build on my own time: Skillboards, AI Customizer, SuggestionBox, To-do Ninja, PollsAndForms, Memorize Your Scripture, and Don't Atrophy. I have entirely too many hobbies, and probably always will. Some fun facts about me: my fastest time on a 3x3 Rubik's cube is 11.74s, I can and will beat you at arm wrestling, I beatbox and just got my own loopstation so I WILL be famous soon... I love to write (as you can see), I've been drumming since I was 6, and this website is 100% black and white because my design weakspot is color theory.
